SCAM ALERT - I picked up a call which then was transferred to a call centre in India. The person on the other end said they were from tech support, wanting to fix my supposedly bad internet. I let him run through his spiel for a bit without sharing any details. After a while, I asked why he hadn’t requested any security details yet. When he said that was coming next, I told him to prove he was legit by telling me who I spoke to in my last support call and the date. He just dropped the call straight away.
