After I picked up, there was a pause then a recorded message came on about a security warning related to my bank account, though it never mentioned which bank. It claimed there were two suspicious transactions and told me to press 2 to fix the issue. I ignored that and decided to check it out myself. I dialled 141 before calling the same number back. A woman answered saying, “Hello, Surgery - how can I help?” I hung up straight away. Turns out that number is from Luton.
