I received a rather peculiar phone call from this number, inquiring about an individual who's not at my residence, and they mumble on about an incorrect address too. The caller was prattling on about whether I resided in the CB region and insisted it might be relevant for me. I was in the midst of preparing for work and politely mentioned that I had to dash out. To my astonishment, he retorted with, “Well madam, I reckon you’re telling fibs!” before abruptly disconnecting. Utterly discourteous! I suggest you avoid answering and, if possible, block this number!

I got a call from a company called Options, they told me I had fibreglass put in 20 years ago and asked if it was still there. I told them, if it was there for 20 years do you think I’d just leave it in? You daft. They didn’t seem pleased and hung up on me. I’ve got an uneasy gut feeling about this phone call I received. The chap on the other end claimed he was from a firm named "Options," supposedly linked to a government initiative on loft insulation. He mentioned that the insulation previously installed under this scheme had somehow failed to meet health and safety regulations. Got a call on my phone yesterday around 11:30am. I only switch on the landline now and then to check if the annoying calls have stopped - they haven’t, so I’ve disconnected it again. It’s frustrating having to pay for a landline that’s constantly getting these pointless calls. Without the landline, there’s no broadband either, and Virgin Media says there’s nothing they can do. Got a call from someone asking for my husband, or Mr D as they put it. I asked which one since we've got two boys with that initial. The caller said he didn't have a first name, just the homeowner. I told him he wasn't in and asked what it was about. He said he represented a firm called Options. I mentioned we are on the TPS list, and he kindly asked for the reference number to take us off his list. I said I wasn’t sure where that was since we’ve been on TPS for ages. He apologised and promised to have our number taken off his calling list.

Like the other calls I got today, this one was from someone pretending to be an energy efficiency officer for my area. Funny enough, I got a letter from Equifax yesterday saying my personal info stored with them was compromised back in May 2017. Seems too much of a coincidence to me - and I’m on the TPS list.

This number has called me three times in just two days. I used Guardian phone and BT 1572 to check it, and both said it’s spam, so I let it ring once then hang up. Some bloke rang me up sayin my loft insulation was rubbish. He tried to sell me this spray foam stuff for under the rafters, but apparently it stops the roof from breathing and can cause the wood to rot. Proper dodgy, I’d stay well clear of it. Got a call from someone speaking with a British accent, can't remember the name he gave. It was around 5.30pm and he asked straight away for my husband by name. Claimed he was our Local Efficiency Consultant - what even is that? When I told him my husband wasn’t in, he asked when would be a good time to ring back. Got a silent call again - absolute waste of time signing up with the TPS. Feels like they just hire folks to make unemployment stats look better, all while draining millions from UK taxpayers. Proper pointless.

I received a call from someone purporting to be an energy consultant, but they couldn’t even get the homeowner’s name right. It’s a fake name I used previously to avoid a pyramid scheme, so I’m certain this caller is not legitimate.

Got a call from this number while I was out, my wife answered and a bloke asked for me by name. Thought it might be legit so I tried ringing back the Luton number but BT didn’t recognise it. After checking reviews on here, looks like it’s a scammer. Glad I managed to add the number to my BT call blocking thing, so next time they call, they’ll be blocked for sure! Ha ha!

On Fri 24 Nov at about 10:45am, I got a call with complete silence. I hung up right away and then called 1471 to check who it was - turns out the number was 01582-733581.
