I was in the bathroom when this number rang me. I didn’t pick up and there was no voicemail either. Just posting here to confirm it’s still reaching out.

Got a call from someone claiming to be British Telecom, with an automated voice saying my phone line was involved in some criminal activity. They told me to press 1 or 2 to speak to an agent. To my shock, when I did, I ended up talking to an Indian scammer who tried to convince me to let them put remote access on my PC to nick my info and cash!
