This number rings me up daily, no less than once each day. I'm pretty sure it's one of those scam calls.

They rang me a couple of times but didn’t leave a message. The first was on Sunday around 9.30 in the morning, and then again at 8.57 on Bank Holiday Monday. I’ve got call minder on, so I was expecting something but nada.

Received a call at 9 a.m. on Sunday, claiming my internet would be disconnected. It's quite amusing, considering I don't even have an internet connection! What a bunch of crooks!

I've received at least half a dozen calls from this number in the past week. I tend to avoid answering calls right away; instead, I use the 1471 service to find out who's trying to reach me. Consequently, I haven't actually engaged with anyone or returned the call. After checking in here, it appears this number is indeed linked to some sort of scam.

Got a call early on Bank Holiday Monday, around 8:30, with one of those recorded messages saying they were gonna cut my internet off. Heard this same spiel loads before, so I just blocked the number this time.

Just had a rather dodgy call on my home phone at the ungodly hour of 8:03 AM. I reluctantly rolled out of bed to pick up, only to hear someone claiming to be from BT. They made some alarming noises about my computer being at risk. Quite the cheek of it, really! Absolutely a scam, no doubt about it!

Received a call at precisely 9:01 this morning from a woman with an American accent, purporting to be from BT. She insisted that my internet was on the verge of being disconnected today. Quite frankly, she was incredibly discourteous and seemed to talk over me, which makes me wonder if it might have been a pre-recorded message? To add to the absurdity, I don’t even have an account with BT!

I just told those scammers to buzz off and blocked the number straight away.

My phone buzzed just after 9 in the morning, but something made me ignore it. Later I peeked at 1471 to check who it was, and yep, total scammer trying the same old trick.

At 7:55 this morning, I got a call from this number - seriously annoying! Luckily, my BT phone with call blocking stopped it from getting through. Reading other comments, looks like it’s the same old scam going around.

Just got the exact same call again.

I got a dodgy call from that same number, sounded like some scam robot pretending to be BT. Don’t hit any buttons if it rings you - real BT wouldn’t be cutting you off through an automated message!

Got loads of calls from this number and a few others that were just a digit off, all with the same spiel about BT cutting off my internet. One even woke me up at half past eight this morning. The caller had a strong American accent. Gonna check out that Consumer Association thing cos an elderly family member got tricked by exactly this kinda scam last year and ended up losing cash. These scammers are proper dreadful, absolute scum.

It’s the same old story, isn't it? A call from BT warning that they’ll disconnect your internet by tomorrow - absolute nonsense! It seems they’ve completely drained the scare factor out of it, especially since I’m getting these calls on a weekly basis. Total scam!

Got one of those robotic calls today threatening to cut off my internet if I didn’t hit 1 and chat with some dodgy operator. Classic scam, as far as I’m concerned.

It’s a total scam, just like loads of others have said here. They use an American accent and claim they’re from BT. Honestly, best to just block the number and not answer. I really hope older folks or anyone who’s not aware doesn’t get tricked by it.

My elderly mum was at home when this number called just a couple of minutes back, playing an automated message. The woman speaking had a strong American accent and was saying something about BT internet being cut off today. I didn’t bother hearing the whole thing because I was sure it was a scam! They've tried ringing a few times before as well.

Over the last couple of weeks, a bloke and a woman have been ringing up my elderly folks loads, saying their BT internet is about to be cut off. They kept asking for all sorts of info, like where they live and other details.

How much more do we have to put up with this? There’s a campaign going on by some consumer group (not sure which one) aiming to make these folks responsible for their actions. Show them some backing.

Got a voicemail from a woman with an American accent pretending to be from BT, said to press one to chat with them or press two to cut off our internet. We've received quite a few calls like this from various numbers, so blocking them isn’t really an option. I've already reported it to the ICO.
