Some woman rang me claiming she was from the telephone preference service, saying she wanted to update my info so I wouldn't get spam calls. I had a feeling it was a dodgy call right away. The lady's accent sounded Indian and she even mentioned something about making sure I don’t get calls from India. Then she asked for my credit card details to make a one-time payment. Totally a scam.
