Watch out! I got a call saying my roof insulation was rubbish and needed checking straight away. Total con job, preying on folks who might not know better. Don't fall for it!

On 5th October 2017, I got a call from a bloke claiming to be with the energy advice service, telling me I qualified for better loft insulation. He sounded pretty legit and mentioned that a company named Smart Insulation would ring me soon to offer a free quote. Once I put the phone down, I felt like it was a bit dodgy. Later, I noticed calls coming from 01582513278, which I reckon was Smart Insulation. I didn’t pick up, and they’ve been ringing back non stop. I’m not gonna answer them at all.

I got a call about getting insulation put in our attic, they really pushed to set up a date and wouldn’t accept a no for an answer. The first time they rang was on 28/9/17 and they kept phoning the next day too. I ended up just blocking the number so I wouldn’t have to deal with it anymore.
