Got a weird call from an automated voice saying money was being taken from my account and to press 1 or 2 to sort it out. Felt like a dodgy scam to me. Best advice is to just hang up straight away.

Received a pre-recorded message claiming to be from some 'Bank Security' team, urging me to hit 1 if I wished to authorise transactions or 2 to prevent them. Definitely a dodgy call!

Looks like scammers are using this number to fake calls.

Got a missed call and when I picked up, it was one of those obvious recorded messages about some bogus charges on my bank account. It told me to press 1 or 2, but the recording actually kicked in halfway through. Total scam, for sure, likely some dodgy and old tech behind it. Ended call as soon as it finished. Don’t bother answering or responding!

The number seemed to be from a proper landline, but when I picked up, all I could hear was loads of clicking noises. Then it suddenly went dead and I got the engaged tone. Pretty sure it was just another dodgy scam call.

This morning I got a robo call from 01582478945 claiming that my bank account was hit with two transactions: one from Amazon for £300 and another for an international transfer over £1000. They told me to press 1 to cancel or 2 to talk to someone about it. It definitely felt like a scam, especially since I don’t have anything close to that amount in my account. Personally, I’d say just hang up and don’t press any numbers.
