My wife has been conned out of a few hundred quid already, which is awful since she's got disabilities and can’t always think straight. We’ve got a joint bank account, so when I found out, I immediately stopped any more money going out. Yesterday, a woman called up, and I told her straight up there was no way she was talking to my wife. I told her to get lost. Then she had the gall to threaten sending it to their ‘legal department’! It’s outrageous because we never signed up for any of their "services". They’re definitely scammers. Watch out, folks!

Got a call from a lady who sounded very professional, saying she was from Travel Solutions and wanted to talk about our "entitlement" to holiday weeks (for the umpteenth time!) as former timeshare owners. We ditched our timeshare 13 years ago and these calls are getting really annoying. She kept insisting she wasn’t trying to sell anything. I told her we weren’t interested since we own a place abroad now, don’t have time off work, and asked to be removed from their list. I’m not convinced they’ll actually do that, so I’ve just blocked the number.

Hi, got a call from someone saying they were James Block at the Timeshare Council or something, talking about some new EU law stuff... went on a bit about that. He gave an 0800 number 024 3101 and said ask for James. He also said if you’re not an owner anymore to call that free number and they’ll take you off their list. I didn’t bother calling back.

This number says it’s from some company called Travel Solutions. I’m not sure if that’s legit or not. There’s a place with that name in Belfast, but the calls come from Luton. The person didn’t say who they were at first, only told me when I pressed for info, then said it was about time shares. I never gave them permission to call me, I’m not interested in time shares and feel like this is just annoying harassment. Best to end the call and report them as soon as you can.

Some bloke named "Martin" rang from this number, telling us we had some leftover bonus timeshare weeks. He said it’d be "just" £99 a week to use them.

Got a ring from this number, and they were asking for a name I haven’t used in ages, probably from some outdated database. Couldn’t properly catch which company he claimed to be with, but when I pressed him he said RCI and mentioned something about a timeshare. I questioned him a bit more, and then he said I was being rude. I told him he was the rude one, calling unsolicited like that, then he started shouting a load of stuff I won’t repeat here and just hung up on me. Honestly, we don’t need these types of calls at all.

Got a phone call on my cellphone from someone claiming they could assist with claiming back on a mis-sold holiday timeshare. They said you need to have kept up with your yearly maintenance charges for the past couple of years, so you’d have to have paid at least up to 2015. When I told them the last payment I made was in 2014, the call just cut off. Tried ringing them back but the number just went dead! Weird, innit?
