Got a call from 01582383199, the line was a bit patchy but they said they’d installed loft insulation for us (which we did ourselves). When I asked when they supposedly did it, the guy said his manager would ring on Thursday to sort any questions out. He kept going on about mould and condensation issues, telling me not to worry. I asked again about the date and the company’s name, and he sounded totally flustered. I called him a scammer and rubbish and tried to ring back after 10 minutes but the number was dead.

I got a call from someone called Matthew, seemed like one of those cold calls about loft insulation. When I asked how he got my contact, he said he’d have his manager ring me back in 15 minutes. Guess what? No call ever came. Pretty basic and sloppy approach, probably just randomly dialing numbers. Honestly, I wouldn’t trust them for a second, felt a bit pushy and could even be a bit dodgy.
