After a few rings, a woman answered with a quick "hello" but then abruptly hung up. I suspect she couldn’t identify my landline number. There was quite a bit of background noise, reminiscent of a call centre environment, and the chatter sounded rather foreign. Interestingly, the call originated from a landline in Luton.

The individual on the other end could hardly string together a coherent sentence in English, only managing to say "Hiellio." It seems like these are just a bunch of rubbishers trying to scout for potential targets to annoy later on. What a waste of time!
