i usually go along with it and say yeah, i got into an accident that wasn’t on me, something about a crazy sharp corner on the road i didn’t take properly, so sharp it supposedly chopped my head off. then i tell them i’m trying to get compensation for surgery to fix me up - basically get a new head on a fitter body cause the old one was looking a bit sad. not shockingly, they hang up pretty quick after hearing that.

Got a call from a number but the person refused to say who they were - felt like a scam to me. I’ve added the number to my block list now so it doesn’t ring again.

this number rang me up saying i was involved in a no fault crash and could get as much as £4000 compensation. when i pressed for specifics and wanted to know when this was supposed to have happened, they just ended the call.
