I just got a call from what I think was a scam. They said they were a legal team trying to help me recover money from a timeshare. The number they used was 0204 5257581. Don't trust these sorts of calls!

They go by the name Arbitration Consultants these days - really pushy about selling legal help to get you out of timeshare agreements. They were recommended by some marketing advice centre as if they were actual solicitors who'd sort your case. Thing is, the person you deal with isn’t qualified legally at all, just really good at persuading folks to fork over a 20% upfront fee, which can be as much as £1,800, promising they’ll free you from your timeshare within a year or give you your money back - but only if you sign on the dotted line straight away.
