Received a phone call from someone purporting to have my details linked to a debt that's already being managed without any fuss. When I probed further about the reason for their call, they claimed that they had multiple clients sharing my name and were eager to offer tailored financial assistance. I informed them that I had no prior knowledge of their company and firmly declined to be drawn into what I suspected was a ruse, before ending the call. They promptly rang back, but I chose to ignore it. No voicemail was ever left.

Got a call but no voicemail or anything left behind. If it was a legit company, they’d usually give their info in a message. Sounds dodgy to me. I called back and just got an automated voice saying “thanks for contacting the housing claim”. Hung up straight away and blocked the number.

Definitely a call centre scam. Some Asian lady rang me up, already knew my name, and went on about helping with credit card debts and loans. Kept insisting the call was genuine, but I’m not buying it! These kinds of calls need to be stopped for good. 😠

FRAUDULENT CALLER - I received a phone call claiming I had an unpaid debt that needed immediate attention. The first voice on the line was a man with an Indian accent, followed by a woman who also spoke with a similar tone. Just disregard this scam attempt!

What a scam! They pretended I had some overdue debt and started firing off all sorts of questions-I clearly gave them the wrong answers on purpose, of course! When they asked me about my salary, I casually mentioned I earn £57,000 a day. The cheeky bugger then called me a “complete buffoon” before hanging up. I couldn’t help but chuckle!
