When I probed further about the reason for their call, they claimed that they had multiple clients sharing my name and were eager to offer tailored financial assistance. I informed them that I had no prior knowledge of their company and firmly declined to be drawn into what I suspected was a ruse, before ending the call. They promptly rang back, but I chose to ignore it. No voicemail was ever left.

Definitely a call centre scam. Some Asian lady rang me up, already knew my name, and went on about helping with credit card debts and loans. Kept insisting the call was genuine, but I’m not buying it! These kinds of calls need to be stopped for good. 😠

Got a call from some lot claiming I owed money and needed to pay up right away. The first bloke spoke with an Indian accent, then later a lady with a similar accent rang too. Total scam, don't fall for it!

Totally a scam. They said I owed money and kept asking me loads of questions, which I deliberately got wrong. When he asked my salary, I said 57 grand a day. That freakin' idiot then swore at me and slammed the phone down. Hilarious!
