I shared my sort code and account details with them, but they never withdrew any money. Not sure why that happened?

I keep getting calls from a number I don't recognise, always leaving me guessing if it’s someone important or just another annoying spammer. It’s so frustrating because they never say who they are when I pick up. If someone could help me find out who it is, that would be brilliant!

Heads up, this is definitely a scam. The call seemed to be coming from Nagar in Rajasthan, India, and the service provider listed is AS133275 Gigantic Infotel Pvt Ltd. Just wanted to share this info so folks can be aware!

Most of the scams seem to be coming out of India nowadays. I was able to find out a bit more info about it.

Just got an email from these lot today - luckily I thought to check it out first before getting back to them. It was that usual message about winning £1,000 or something like that.

Don't stress about these muppets. They can't get hold of your bank info unless you give it to them over a call or email, which I seriously recommend against. I rang them up to tell them I'd be involving the police since I know they're running a con, and told them to stop calling me. The bloke on the line, who sounded Asian, snapped back with "fine, bring the cops and I’ll f#ck you up," which was the rudest thing I've heard in ages. Seriously, never give out your bank details to these jokers.

Scam alert. They pretended they needed my bank details, like the sort code and account number, saying it was to transfer a loan to me. Total fake.

Had a call from Micheal and later a lady, I ended up being out of a hundred pounds today.

I got a call just like this today, but the day before I got scammed by a firm calling themselves Instantdecisionloans[###]. They wanted me to buy iTunes gift cards and I naively went along with it. Makes me think if the two are linked somehow. Honestly, I don’t understand how these scammers can live with themselves.

Ignore this, it’s a complete rip-off. I got a message out of the blue saying my loan for £1000 was approved with a 10% APR over 2 years, paying about £47.81 every month. They claim they’ve been trying to reach me to send the money, but it’s obviously dodgy. They say they aren’t brokers but direct lenders and asked me to call 01582213300 to talk to someone called Simon or Michael, quoting a reference number SL1745920. Don’t bother calling - it’s just a scam!

Got another message from someone called Michael, claiming I’d get a £1000 loan but only if I bought an iTunes card from Tesco first. When I asked why that was necessary, he went quiet. There’s nothing in my bank and I haven’t signed any papers, so I’m not sure what they’re playing at. I’ve blocked him on both my phone and email now. Tomorrow I’m heading to my bank to see if they think I should shut my account, even though I never gave these lot my sort code or account details. Honestly, these scammers are getting frighteningly smart.

So how is it even possible for them to grab cash from your bank just with your account number and sort code? Like, seriously?

Got a call from this number where a guy named Michael blagged me into buying an iTunes card. Didn’t realise it was a scam until my bank shut down my card - now I’m down £200. Proper dodgy situation!

I've been tricked by this bloke more times than I care to admit. He's a total scammer, so please don't hand over any details like your sort code or bank account number. I've messaged him about twenty times trying to get my money back, no luck. Does anyone know a quick way to recover it? This seems like prepayment fraud to me. I've already reported him to both the cops and Action Fraud. Seriously, I recommend everyone else does the same to stop him.

Loan Shuttle, I honestly can’t believe I got caught out by them. Usually, I’m way more careful and check everything thoroughly. Watch out though, they’re trying to get you to pay an upfront charge of £25, but they ask for it through an iTunes voucher, saying they can’t take card details over the phone. I feel proper daft for falling for it, but I’ll just take it as a lesson. Please don’t let these scammers trick you like they did me.

I just got a call from Shuttle Loan Financial Services Ltd. They wanted my sort code and account number. I told them to send over the terms and conditions by email first, which they say includes a £25 upfront charge. Been getting loads of calls like this recently, and it's all been dodgy scams.

Hey, to whoever just posted a review before me: looks like you accidentally tagged this number as ‘safe’ instead of ‘scam’ or ‘threatening’. No worries though! We went ahead and put a ‘dangerous’ review up to fix that little slip. But if you want, feel free to change it yourself and mark it correctly as ‘dangerous’. Cheers for helping out with spotting these dodgy calls!

Steer clear of this company if you value your cash! They'll ask for your bank details, and before you know it, they'll siphon funds without actually delivering that promised £1000 loan. Thankfully, I managed to reclaim my funds by lodging a complaint with the Financial Ombudsman. Just a heads up: if they’ve taken any of your money, shoot them an email right away asking for a refund, citing your rights under the cooling-off period regulations for distance selling. Make sure to inform the Financial Ombudsman that you’ve reached out to them as well. Stay vigilant!

I recently received an email purporting to come from Shuttle Loans, situated in Hertfordshire, requesting my bank particulars! They referenced this number as their "customer services" line.
Naturally, I promptly binned the message, given that I wasn't in search of any loans. It appears to be a blatant scam, in my opinion.

They’ve requested a £25 deposit for iTunes, which I find quite peculiar.
