I just had a rather unexpected call from someone sporting a Liverpool accent. They greeted me by saying, “Hello, is that Carole?” and I must admit, my heart sank immediately. With my aged parents to think of, and given that we all reside in Luton, it’s quite alarming when a random number from Luton knows my name. The conversation quickly turned to a supposedly past road traffic incident - how they found out about it is beyond me! I didn’t hesitate to give them a piece of my mind; I firmly told them where to go, and frankly, they had no business addressing me so informally.

I received a call from someone purporting to be from a legal services company, supposedly following up on something. The moment I mentioned that I considered it a cold call, he began to argue with me, not allowing me to speak at all. I swiftly told him where he could go and hung up on the nuisance. It’s clear this was nothing more than a scam; any reputable business wouldn’t permit their staff to engage in such combative behaviour over the phone.

This number keeps calling, but whenever I pick up, there’s absolutely nobody on the line. It’s quite annoying as they seem to hang up constantly as well.

It seems this number keeps ringing but there’s never anyone at the end of the line. Quite frustrating! Plus, I can't even return the call.

Had a rather unpleasant experience with a phone call earlier. The caller was asking for individuals with Muslim names, and their tone was far from polite. They proceeded to chuckle derisively and pepper their speech with expletives before abruptly ending the call. Quite shocking behaviour, to say the least!
