I couldn't shake the feeling that this wasn't an official Amazon number and that the whole situation seemed utterly fraudulent.

Got a call saying it’s from Amazon Prime. They said they’re about to charge £79.99 and if I wanna cancel it, just press 1 to talk to their service manager. Honestly, don’t hit 1, it’s a total scam.
