Yep, it’s 1st Home Improvements, they do windows but I reckon they’re mostly into pushing loans. I got a quote for new windows around £6,000, but with all the interest it jumped up to something like £14,000. Absolutely no way I’m going for that!

Got a couple of missed calls from this number so decided to ring back. The bloke said his name was John Chapman and he was with a firm called First Home Improvements, checking up on a sales rep they’d sent. He sounded like he was trying to get a bit too much info out of me, so I just said the salesman was alright and didn’t share anything else. Kept asking about what prices I’d been quoted, which felt a bit nosy to be honest. Who knows what they’re really after.

I didn’t bother picking up, just pretended to be busy crushing a drink can and making all these funny noises, then they just ended the call. I usually answer and mess around with telemarketers, it’s my little game.
