Got a call from this number at 8.30 this morning, but they hung up just as I picked up. Tried calling back but no luck, no response. Blocking twice now?

I get around half a dozen calls from this number daily, but whenever I answer, there’s no one on the line - even with caller ID on. Sometimes they do say something, and it’s usually the same annoying stuff mentioned here. It shows up as quite pushy on my caller ID, but whenever I try to call them back, it’s always busy or engaged. Proper frustrating!

Got called 4 times just today!

I kept getting calls from that number, but whenever I finally picked up, they just dropped the call. They were ringing several times throughout the day.

This particular number has been relentless! I've received seven calls in just one day! Thankfully, my BT phone's call-blocking feature has intercepted them all. I’m completely stumped as to who might be behind this incessant ringing.

I've had a few calls today from a very pushy and impolite Indian guy. Keeps whining about problems with the router and all that. This makes it the fourth time just this afternoon!

I had a bit of a muddle with my internet provider earlier today. I was experiencing some router issues, so I decided to ring them up for assistance. However, the chap on the line, who had quite a thick Indian accent, claimed that they were actually Virgin Media. This was perplexing since I'm definitely not a Virgin customer! After realising this mix-up, I promptly hung up.

Like a few others have said, got a call from an Indian bloke offering me a free router to fix my 'problems' - which I don’t even have, plus my phone line is rubbish anyway. He was dead persistent, almost felt like harassment. When I told him I wasn’t sure how to do the online stuff, he said he’d guide me through, bless him! But then when my screen saver showed a message about the Met Police (just a suspicion), the call suddenly dropped. Suspicious, innit? Definitely one of those scams. Was a bit annoyed he wasn’t a bit cheeky about it since I’ve got time to mess about today.

Got two calls back to back from a guy with an Indian accent claiming there was an issue with our router and that BT wanted to send a replacement for free. Thing is, BT isn’t even our internet company - we use Irang Zen Internet. When I checked with them, they said it was definitely a scam. Best thing to do is just hang up straight away.

I received a staggering seven phone calls today! When I finally confronted the chap on the seventh call, informing him that I had filed a report, he abruptly ended the conversation.

I've been bombarded with calls from this number lately. The person on the other end has an Indian accent, and the line is all crackly, which is quite off-putting. It appears to be some sort of scam linked to internet services, claiming there's an issue with your router. The area code belongs to Cranbrook in Kent. Just a word of warning to everyone-best to hang up on them and save yourself the hassle!

This is the second time I’ve received calls from this number today. The first person said they were from Virgin, and the second claimed to be from BT, chatting about router issues. Sounded dodgy to me, obviously trying to get me to waste ages sorting out my computer. I told them I wasn’t about to give up an hour of my time - definitely a scam in my book.

Got a call from 01580881122, reckon it's from a dodgy WiFi router company. Same kind of call as before. Seems a bit fishy to me.

I received a rather dodgy phone call claiming to be from BT, attempting to fish for details about my *faulty* router.

This number rang me twice today, pretty strange since I usually never pick up my home phone. Figured I’d look it up online after seeing it pop up a couple of times.

Like the others mentioned, this person kept insisting it was all free and there was no cost, even though I never said I needed the service. When I asked to speak to someone in charge, he just started going over the same lines again. Then out of nowhere, he just ended the call. Totally feels like a rip-off to me.

We’ve been getting loads of calls about “wifi issues” recently, looks like a scam to me. My wife answered first but as soon as she handed the phone over to me, the caller just ended the call. Suspicious behaviour if you ask me.

I picked up and there was this Indian bloke talking, but it was all weird sounds and mumbling, plus the line was all crackly. I hung up straight away.

Gave me a bell today at ten to three, but didn’t bother to leave any sort of message. Quite curious, I must say!

They kept calling me over and over, saying they were from my internet provider, which I knew was rubbish. I told them to stop but they just wouldn't listen. Now I actually know the number and just ignore it whenever it rings.

Got a call from someone with an Indian accent claiming to be from BT. Said there was an issue with my router and asked if I was on a laptop or phone. I told him I actually work for BT, which seemed to rile him up. His tone turned quite hostile, and I didn’t keep the exact words but told him to get lost in a not so polite way. Then he hung up. I must get these calls about a dozen times every month - definitely a scam.
