I got a call saying I’d sent £300 from Amazon bank and £1,700 from some overseas bank, then asked me to press 1 to confirm or 2 to deny it. I just ignored it, didn’t press anything, and then blocked and removed the number. Don’t ever confirm anything over the phone from banks or financial places. Real banks never ring you up like that.
