Got a call showing up as from the Liskeard area on my phone, but when I picked up, they just hung up without saying a word or leaving a voicemail. The number's pretending to be a landline in Cornwall, but I live well over 600 miles away from there, so there's no chance anyone local would be trying to contact me. I've slapped it on my blocked numbers list straight away. Lately my mobile’s been bombarded with annoying calls, so now I just don’t pick up unless they bother to leave a message. Anyone who really needs me will do that. I even signed up for TPS but it doesn’t seem to help - not surprised if it’s some dodgy call centre overseas at the other end. Best advice: just don’t bother answering these calls, they’re probably scammers.

Got a call from 01579 667110, some company called Forward Life Family Protection or something like that. They were pushing some kind of family insurance package. Bit of a hassle, would steer clear of it.
