There was a missed call while we weren’t home, but they didn’t bother leaving a voicemail.

I got a call on my home phone from a recorded voice pretending to be BT, saying my internet would get disconnected soon and to press 1. This isn’t the first time I’ve had calls like this. Sometimes it’s a person with an Indo-Pak accent who says they're from BT and offers to fix my broadband if I switch on my PC. Seems like a really dodgy scam to me.
