Some bloke called, reckonin he was from BT, but I just told him I wasn't with them lot and ended the call sharpish!

i got a call from a guy who sounded like he had an asian accent, said he was ringing from bt. he told me my internet had been hacked and that he’d need to cut me off, but said if i logged into his website and did what he said, he might be able to stop it. when i asked him to prove he was really from bt, he confidently said, “your name’s mr wilson!” which was totally wrong. i called him out and said, “you're not with bt, are you?” then he just ended the call! pretty cheeky behaviour if you ask me.
