i keep getting calls every few weeks from people claiming to be talktalk, saying my internet is about to be cut off. i never let them speak long enough to get any personal info from me, it’s pretty clear it’s a scam. when i ask them for a name and phone number so i can confirm with talktalk, they just hang up straight away. even though i call them out and say i know it’s a fake, the calls just keep coming.

Got a call from someone saying they were ‘online support’, but when I asked which company, they couldn’t say. Turned out to be one of those Indian call centre scams, trying to say my PC was infected. Lately I’ve been getting like 3 or 4 calls every day from different dodgy numbers all sharing the same area code. Proper annoying!
