I had a rather peculiar phone call today. Someone rang me up, claiming to be from BT, and wanted to know my WiFi password. Oddly enough, I don’t actually use BT for my internet service! Quite the cheek, if you ask me.

Got a voicemail from this number saying there were some dodgy transactions on my account. They said to press 1 to stop the transaction, but I reckon if you do that, it links you to a pricey premium call. Definitely seems like a scam.

Got a call from someone claiming to be BT about broadband stuff, asking for my wifi password. I looked up the number, and it's definitely a legit company, just not BT. Bit confusing!
