This persistent nuisance of a spam caller is driving me round the bend!

I was taken aback when this chap seemed to know my entire name. He was probing about whether I had ever made a claim for PPI and offered his so-called assistance if I hadn’t. Absolutely not, I thought. I could tell straight away it was dodgy.

I missed a call from a number I don’t recognise, no idea who it could be.

The person called me up by my first name and asked if I’d made a PPI claim before. If you tell them you’ve made one within the past year, they don’t seem bothered to keep chatting.
