Ah, gutted I didn’t get the chance to whip up a fresh identity to keep tabs on and flag up the next lot of callers. Turns out, some legit companies do share that info around. Once more, this number popped up and was surprisingly helpful. The info they had on me was way outdated and ancient though. They kept calling and even weren't shy about fibbing if it suited them.

Got another call from some survey lot, this time a different number but same annoying persistent ring. Tried telling them to take me off their list like GDPR says, but no luck. Pretty sure they've nicked my info from tmobile, since the name they used is the one from an old account. I've reported this company for pestering me before, and I'll be reporting them again to the ICO for sure.

I thought it was just a simple survey at first, but turns out they were trying to fish out my personal info to use it for some kind of scam! Total sneaky move!
