I got a call from someone named Kevin (not the typical name you’d expect, and he had a pretty thick Asian accent) claiming to be from BT Openreach about an issue with my internet. When I asked him for his staff ID or IEN number, he just told me to f... off and then ended the call. Really unprofessional!

Got a call from someone called Kevin - bit weird, strong Asian accent but that’s a really unusual name to match it - said he was from BT Openreach, saying there was a fault with my internet. I asked him to give me his IEN number, like a proper BT employee ID, and he just shouted "f... u..." then ended the call straight away. Proper rude and dodgy if you ask me.
