Got a ring from this number on the 15th December at about 10:45. Some woman called Lisa was saying she was from Microsoft Service Team. I’d actually had calls from them two mornings before around 8:10. It was clear a scam. Right when I mentioned I’m on the Telephone Preference Service list, she just hung up straight away. I’m gonna report them to the ICO for sure.

Fraudsters - some bloke named Jordan phoned saying he wanted to talk to the computer user, saying there were loads of errors and problems with our system. I told him we’re actually experts in internet security and he just ended the call. Next time they ring, I’m thinking of saying I work in computer forensics just to see how they react. These calls really need to be blocked. My sister-in-law, who’s 80 and never used a computer, also keeps getting them and I just told her to ignore and hang up. It’s seriously getting on my nerves.

Honestly, these calls drive me mad! I've told them nicely plenty of times, but they just don't get it. My PC is fine, and I’m pretty sure it’s all a scam. They ring me at all sorts, even at 7.45 in the morning. The callers are mostly from India, and half the time I can’t understand a word they say. I’ve started telling them I’m a computer whiz, hoping that might make them stop bothering me.

This number keeps ringing every now and then, claiming to be from BT or Microsoft, total scam. Today my daughter picked up and there was a bloke asking really odd questions about her boyfriend and stuff. Thankfully, my kids aren’t daft and didn’t fall for it.

This morning I got a call from this number and when I told the lady I wasn’t interested in getting my computer “repaired,” she replied, “Are you an absolute f***ing moron?” then just ended the call.

This number has been ringing me pretty much every morning this week, kicking off at 8am sharp! Today was no different, had calls till about 2.30pm, counted about 7 in total. The last one was a proper mouthful, some woman claiming to be from Microsoft - yeah right, as if!

this number rang me two times in half a day. i didnt answer and they just ended the call. if they were really bothered or desperate, i guess they would try to talk first, but it seems like their system only kicks in if you actually say something.

I’m so sick of these calls constantly coming through. Lucky for me, my BT phone lets me block numbers. They still try ringing but can’t get through, though they’ve already called a couple of times today. Before, it was always some Indian guy talking about Microsoft (which is pointless since I use Apple!!). Could someone sort out a way to fully block this number, especially for older folks who might fall for it?

Got a call from a bloke with an Asian/Punjabi accent, said he had no cash and asked if I could help out. Hung up on him the second time in two days. Also had some calls from withheld numbers claiming to be from Microsoft. Total scammers, best to steer clear.

They've rung me 3 times on the 18th of Nov 2016, twice again the following day and today I finally picked up. It was a lady who claimed there'd been issues with my PC recently. I told her I hadn't even turned it on in days. After that, they just hung up on me.

got a call from this number today, it’s got a kinross, scotland, area code. don’t know anyone from that place and wasn’t waiting for any calls from there. i usually let my voicemail answer unknown callers. most sales or scam calls don’t bother leaving messages, and this one just hung up too. reading other comments, looks like it might be one of those tech support scams. sadly there's loads of these around all the time. just a reminder, microsoft will never phone you about computer issues. don’t trust strangers ringing up saying there’s a problem with your computer.
