I received a dubious call regarding a PPI claim that turned out to be rather shifty. When I pressed 5, I was connected to an operator who claimed the number was sourced from a database, but the name they had for the occupant was entirely incorrect-whoever it was has never set foot in my abode. As I’m registered with the Telephone Preference Service, such calls should be off-limits to me! They identified themselves as the Consumer Justice Group, hailing from Manchester, but interestingly, the number traced back to Kinross. After I probed them a bit too much, they abruptly ended the call. Quite the cheek, if you ask me!
