Got this dodgy automated call pretending to be from the Met Police, some G### enforcement lot, DWP and the NI office, saying me or my lawyer need to ring them back urgent about some serious issue. I'm on O2 as well like loads of others. Absolute rubbish so I’m not bothering to call back. Proper annoyed with O2 for it!

Got a voicemail from someone claiming to be HRMI Metropolitan Police, saying I needed to ring them back or else there'd be big trouble. The phone never even rang when they called, just the voicemail picking up. Sounds like a total scam to me.

Got a robotic message from the Metropolitan Police, but they never mentioned my name or who the message was actually for, so it felt sketchy from the start. The voicemail told me to ring the Department of Work and Pensions, which seemed really dodgy since these official places wouldn’t get in touch like that. I definitely didn’t call back. Felt like a total scam to me.

I received an absolute wind-up of a prank call that left a cheeky message on my mobile!

had this weird call earlier, loads of different departments like the police, some tax people and inland revenue all calling at once, as if i'd believe that nonsense!

Got a call supposedly from my job, mentioned some national insurance thing and even said the metropolitan police were involved. I just blocked and deleted the number straight away. Feels like the usual scam where they threaten you with police action for unpaid taxes and push you to send money through western union or similar. There’s loads of videos on YouTube showing exactly this sort of scam. Proper nasty stuff!

Got a robo call from some supposed “national insurance department” and the “metropolitan police” plus some “a### enforcement agency” warning me about a “very serious matter” that apparently needs urgent attention. The message said either I or my solicitor should ring them straight away - as if official bods work like that! My phone didn’t ring at all, just straight to this automated voice that didn’t even bother mentioning my name. I’m with 02 here in the UK, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they’ve handed my number over to scammers. Cheers, 02!

Got a voicemail from someone saying they're with HMRC and the London Met Police, wanted me to ring them back or get my lawyer involved. Sounds dodgy to me, if I was in trouble the police would be showing up at my house, not leaving messages. Plus, HMRC always send letters, so this has gotta be a scam.

Had a call from some automated voice claiming to be from HMRI, d### Enforcement, London Metropolitan Police, and even the National Insurance department at the Department of Work and Pensions. Honestly, doesn't add up to me that they're all from those places. Pretty sure it’s just a dodgy scam!

Got a call claiming to be from the Inland Revenue saying if I didn’t answer I'd face serious trouble. Obviously, I ignored it since it sounded like a scam and I didn’t want to end up with a massive phone bill.
