I got a call from someone claiming to be from BT Openreach, but it was definitely a scam. They said they were updating the internet setup at my local exchange and started asking about the lights on my router. When I mentioned the light that usually blinks for internet activity was flashing, they said there was a problem. Then they asked what gadgets I was using, and as soon as I said “laptop” or “computer”, they tried to convince me to let them access my device remotely. It's just the same old Microsoft support trick, only now they pretend to be BT. Definitely watch out for this one.
