Got a call from a guy who sounded really polite and proper. He said, “Hi, I’m Gordon, the government mortgage adviser for your local area. Can you just confirm you still own the house?” I asked again, “Sorry, what adviser did you say you are?” Then suddenly the line just dropped. Definitely a dodgy call, so watch out for this kind of scam!

I've been getting calls every day from someone named "Gordon" who says he's my neighbourhood energy advisor, but the phone number has an area code from way over 100 miles away!

Got a call from some company, something like "Your Home" or along those lines. They were trying to sell me roof insulation, going on with the usual spiel about doing surveys to check if my loft needed more insulation. Totally felt like a scam.
