They asked if I was the "house owner" and claimed it wasn't a cold call, but when I replied with "which house?" they just hung up right away.

I got a call from someone saying it's Medicare, telling me my prescription is ready for pickup.

Somebody rang saying they were from the energy register, then asked what I wanted to sell. They claimed I had to update the energy register to stop getting any more calls. Then they asked if I was the homeowner, and I just said I very much doubt that and ended the call. I don’t usually pick up unknown numbers, but I was expecting a call so they caught me off guard.

Got a call from this 01572 number the other day, didn’t pick up since I didn’t recognise it. That code is from Oakham, right? Tried ringing back and got a voicemail saying something like ‘Effective Health’ but no one was there to take the call. Seems like a sales or marketing call to me. Not bothered at all, so I’ve blocked the number. If they keep calling, I’m definitely reporting them to OFCOM or the ICO.

Absolutely fed up with these incessant calls! I haven’t a clue who’s behind it, and despite blocking this number countless times, they just keep ringing me back. It’s infuriating! 😤
