Got a call from 01572 11315 but no one spoke or left any message. Didn’t answer and blocked the number straight away.

Just found this number on my new 14600 call blocker’s history. I've set it to 'do not disturb' and the answering machine to 'answer only' without announcing, so no random calls actually ring through - the phone just lights up for unknown numbers. Pretty chuffed I’m getting good value for the £34.99 I paid! Plus, the phone lets you record calls, which is handy if any pesky people ignoring the TPS manage to sneak past the filters.

Got a call from someone who definitely didn’t sound British, trying to get me to sign up for this ‘call guardian’ thing at £129.99. Seemed pretty dodgy to me.

I have no clue who this was as they just hung up as soon as I picked up. The same number rang me the day before yesterday and again yesterday. I don’t have any call blocking or caller ID, so I only managed to catch the number by using 1471 after the call. Bit of a pain really.
