I was met with nothing but utter silence when I picked up the phone. I called out "hello" more than a few times, but there was no reply whatsoever. Figured it would be best to just block this number!

i got a call from this number and the guy was really nasty, arguing and shouting at me. he wouldnt tell me what company he was from no matter how much i asked. when i said i'd ring the cops if he didnt calm down, he just hung up on me. really unpleasant experience.

Got a call from someone saying they were with a company that does boiler maintenance, but I couldn’t really make out the name properly. They wanted to set up an appointment for a service. I’m not too sure if it was a genuine firm though. Been getting loads of dodgy calls recently, so I’m a bit wary.

So this number rang me at 4pm on the 7th of October 2021, I picked up but they just cut off straight away. I tried using 1471 to check the caller's number and then pressed 3 to call back but it wouldn't go through. How is that even possible? Honestly, the best thing to do is just not to answer calls from unknown numbers. If it’s really important, they’ll ring again or find another way to reach you. This kind of nonsense with mystery calls seriously needs to be dealt with somehow.

On 7th October 2021 around 4pm, my phone rang but as soon as I picked up, the person at the other end just hung up. Tried using 1471 to see the caller’s number and then pressed 3 to call back, but it never went through. How does that even work? Honestly, the best advice is to just ignore calls from numbers you don’t know. If it really matters, they’ll ring again or find another way to reach you. These dodgy calls seriously need to be stopped somehow.
