I got a call from a woman speaking English with an Indian accent, saying she was from BT Openreach. She told me there was an issue with my broadband router and asked me to switch on my computer. As soon as I got a bit suspicious and didn’t play along, she just hung up. This wasn’t the first time I’ve had scams like this, came from other numbers too.
