I just got a call from that number, sounded like it was coming from overseas or something, the line was really bad. They were trying to speak to me but I couldn’t understand much so I just ended the call. I’m with Sky btw, if that was BT maybe they need to fix their connection lol.

A bloke rang saying he was from BT and wanted to know which bank I used for my direct debit. I got suspicious right away and told him I reckoned it was some kind of scam, then just ended the call.

Someone rang me bright and early at 7:45 am claiming to be from BT with a deal for half price on my home phone for three months. I didn’t fall for it though, since I know BT never offers discounts like that to current customers! Definitely a scam.

I got a call from someone claiming to be from BT, and they had all my details, like my name and address. When I told them I wasn’t with BT and asked them to leave me alone, I just ended the call. I actually have Sky for my phone. Just before I hung up, the woman said “hold on a second,” then she rang me again on my landline.

Somebody said they were from BT but it was so obvious it was a scam. Just watch out for that sort of thing!
