‭01549 189577‬ called me, showed up as a Stonehaven number. I let it go to voicemail, the voice sounded Asian but was really fuzzy and weird. Decided to hang up and have blocked the number.

Got a call from this number earlier. The voice claimed to be from Revenue and Customs, all automated, saying we owed money and if we didn’t stay on the line to sort the payment, a warrant would be issued right away and the police would come to arrest us! We just hung up straight away. Really hope folks don’t get tricked by this HMRC scam. They’re just trying to scare people into giving away their bank info and taking their cash!! Absolutely disgusting.

I dialled 01519470267 using my work phone, got a couple of busy signal beeps and then the call dropped. Tried again later on a mate’s phone, and it happened the same. I’m now thinking this is more than just annoying, it might actually be risky. It’s a Liverpool number and loads of call centres are based there, but usually on weekends they have someone or an automated message - this one didn’t.

Not sure who rang me as the number was unfamiliar, so I just let it go to voicemail. Nothing was left on the answerphone either.

I was on the phone for about 6 minutes and kept saying I couldn't understand what she was saying at all. Then she passed me onto her "supervisor" who just kept talking nonsense about cheap holiday weeks since I supposedly own a timeshare. I told him twice there was loud music playing in the background and he said no one else had ever said anything. I told him it sounded really unprofessional. He just laughed and spoke even louder. I told him to send me info in the post and then I hung up. Never trust cold callers like this. It’s gotta be a scam.

I was stuck on the phone for about 6 minutes, having no clue what she was going on about. Then she handed me over to her ‘superviser’, who kept bombarding me with nonsense about cheap holiday weeks because supposedly I own a timeshare. I mentioned twice that there was music playing in the background, but he just said no one else had ever mentioned it. I said it sounded really unprofessional. He just laughed and made his voice louder. Told him to just post me the info and ended the call. Honestly, never trust cold calls. This has scam written all over it.

Got a call on my landline around 9pm on Tuesday 17th Sept. The answerphone picked up, but the person just hung up straight away. I’ve stopped picking up my landline now and just let the answerphone deal with anyone calling.

I never pick up calls from numbers I don't recognise, I just look them up on ‘who rang me’ and then clear the call log. To me, if it was really important, they'd leave a voicemail or something.

Just got a call from someone who said they were from Platinum Weeks, a direct marketing firm working with RCI and Diamond. When I questioned them, they quickly switched their story, saying they actually worked for the resorts themselves, selling weeks from owners who were giving up their points. They offered 3 weeks spread over three years at £168 a week. The caller said she was based in London, but this listing says Scotland. They also mentioned having offices in Wakefield, Spain and Orlando.

Answered the phone and asked him how he got my number. He said it just came up on his screen. Then he started going on about extra weeks for my timeshare. I told him I wouldn’t be able to use it for the next three years because I have cancer and could pass away any time. He was left speechless for a moment and then just said he’d take my number off his list. I wasn’t making it up at all.

Got a call from 1430 about a timeshare deal - said I was owed 3 weeks at some platinum resort for 6 people. All I had to do was pay £168 three times, so about £500. I told them to remove me from their list straight away.

Got a call from someone trying to pitch me holiday weeks even tho I already got some. He even mentioned places I’d just visited, bit creepy really. Got a call from a lady saying we could get 3 weeks holiday free but had to pay upfront to secure them today. She mentioned if we pay for 2 weeks the 3rd one would be free. We told her we didn’t know their company and wanted something in writing first. She promised an email but we never got anything. They seem pretty convincing but honestly, it’s a scam, don’t get caught out.

I got a call from a woman saying I only had one day left to use my 3 week holiday at Gold Crown Resorts. She even mentioned details about a timeshare I used to own. I played along to see what she would say, pretending I didn’t know I still had weeks left. The truth is, I sold that timeshare around 10 years ago and never heard anything about GCR since. Total scam, complete rubbish. Hope no one gets caught out by this lot.
