He actually sent a proper-looking O2 code but asked me to read it out to him on the phone. The message said clear as day not to share the code with anyone, even if they say they work for O2. I flat out refused and said I’d ring O2 myself to check. Please be careful, never ever give that code to anyone, not even if they say they’re from O2.
