I tried calling this number back, but no one picked up on the other end.

I received a couple of calls from this number earlier today, and the chap on the line was going on about solar energy and fitting solar panels. I made it clear I wasn't keen on the idea and requested that they take my number off their list.

Got a call earlier today from someone claiming our Sky maintenance plan was up for renewal, and they could give us a cheaper deal than last year. I told them we don't have any cover with Sky and wasn't interested, then ended the call. They rang straight back and were really pushy and quite rude, insisting we had to renew the insurance right away. I said I'd look into my Sky account to figure out what was going on, and then they just hung up! I've blocked the number now.

When I picked up, the call just ended straight away and left a recorded message on my voicemail. If you ring back, it says they're following up about a free magazine you supposedly asked for some time ago. They give you two choices if you call back: press 1 to give them your details for the free mag or press 9 to stop getting calls. I didn’t press anything, so not sure what happens if you do. Feels a bit dodgy to me.

This number keeps ringing me. I don’t pick up calls from unknown numbers, but I heard it’s probably a solar panel con.

Total con! Each time I attempt to return the call, they simply hang up. I've no clue who it might be, but if they're so keen to dodge my calls, it surely can't be anything of significance.
