Over the past week, I've gotten quite a few calls like this. The most recent one claimed to be my internet company, warning that my account was hacked. When I first got a call like this, I wasn't feeling great and wasn’t thinking straight, so I ended up pressing 1. They told me to open TeamViewer on my computer, and I actually did, but then it struck me that something was fishy, so I just ended the call!

Got a call from a guy with an Indian accent saying he was from BT Openreach. Didn’t bother listening to what he was saying. Pretty sure it was a scam.
