I answered the phone and could hear loads of chatting going on in the background, but no one on the other end actually spoke to me. Sounds like they've dialled the wrong number.

Some bloke rang me, saying he’d had an accident and needed cash for surgery. I just hung up straight away. Come on, who actually asks strangers on the phone for money? Total scam, no doubt about it.

At first, I thought it was just some telemarketer, but when I picked up, I only heard a TV on in the background with no one talking, which was really strange. They rang me in the middle of the day, too.

they keep bombarding both me and my missus with these weird blank texts, no idea how they managed to get hold of both our numbers. maybe it’s connected to some survey i did online, could be the source of all these random messages.
