Earlier today, precisely at 12:35, I received a rather dubious call alleging suspicious activity on my card amounting to £900. The caller claimed they were looking into the matter and urged me to ring a number purportedly linked to the bank to halt the transaction. I made it clear that I would prefer to visit my bank in person to address the issue. The voice on the line was distinctly foreign, and they promptly hung up on me. I wouldn't dream of divulging any banking information over the phone or calling a number that I'm unfamiliar with.
