Someone just rang me saying they could take my accident off the records, then tried passing me onto some 'third party claims expert' to supposedly clear it. Clearly just scammers hoping you’ll make a dodgy claim. Wish there was more done to crack down on this nonsense.

Got a ring from this number and checked it here, turns out it’s just another call about a crash I had a while back! It was my fault but they keep saying I can get compensation, not saying it’ll hike up my insurance though! Also, funny how all these comments mention some ‘Carl’ and the positive ones sound like copies. Definitely feels a bit fishy!

They told me they'd "take my name off the insurance list" and "put an end to all the calls I'd been getting". But then they tried to "verify a few details and complete some missing info". I wasn’t having any of it and didn’t share anything. Don’t get tricked, it’s just another scam call pretending to be something else.

You could try getting in touch with your insurance provider to confirm that they’ve sent an update to Experian CUE to take down your phone number. The folks ringing from this firm are nothing but trouble, honestly. They should be doing something honest that actually helps society instead of wasting people's time and getting rude when you tell them this.

She mentioned she would assist me in closing my file to end all the phone calls I’d been receiving about my crash recently. But actually, I wasn’t getting any calls at all! She asked for specifics like the date of the accident, the damage, and so on. When I explained I’d already made an injury claim and was paid, she just said thanks and would close the file. Quite a smart tactic just to get a word with you!

I received a rather odd call from a woman claiming to be from the Motor Insurance Database. She insisted on updating some information regarding myself and then started prattling on about a minor car accident I had the previous year. Out of the blue, she asked if I had lodged a claim for whiplash. I clarified that it was merely a slow-speed shunt and thankfully, I wasn’t hurt at all. However, she seemed unfazed by that and suggested they would go ahead and file a claim on my behalf regardless. It felt very shady, almost as if she was pushing me to concoct a claim. That was the point at which I chose to hang up.

A woman called saying she was from the Motor Insurance Database and needed to update some info about me. She mentioned a car accident I had last year and asked if I’d claimed for whiplash. I said it was just a minor knock with no injuries. She then said it didn’t matter and they’d file a claim for me anyway. She basically wanted me to agree to a fake claim. That’s when I ended the call. She had my name, address, and phone number.

this number is from the insurance advice team and ive been chatting with Karl. honestly, the tips he gave me were really helpful and taught me how to deal with accidents better going forward. my own insurer was useless when i needed help. ive put in a claim now cos my insurer never told me i could. they didnt ask for my bank details or any money upfront, cause its a no win no fee thing. seems like a proper safe company and ill update you if my claim goes through. even if it doesnt, im grateful for all the support and advice from Karl, and ive saved your number for future too.

Got a call from an insurance company wanting to ‘wrap up’ a case from a recent crash. Before they closed it, they told me I could actually claim for it and I just received £2140. Had no idea I was eligible for compensation for a crash that happened in 2016 which wasn’t my fault. Their lawyer dealt with all the paperwork and I got the payment within three months. I’ve had another accident lately and I’ll be reaching out to them again for some guidance.

i got a call from a bloke named carl, really polite chap who explained why i was getting loads of calls and showed me how to have my file closed. he told me about the choices i had and left it up to me what to do. in the end i chose not to make a claim, but after following his tips to remove my number, the calls have pretty much stopped. big thanks to the advice team, i was being bombarded by cold callers before.
