This number has rung us thrice now, and each time it only chimed twice before they hung up. They didn’t even give us a chance to answer! At least we've managed to identify who they are at long last.

I'm absolutely irritated with this number that keeps calling our phone and then hanging up! I have no clue who they are or what they want, and there’s no way I’m calling them back. If they actually wish to have a conversation, why do they bother ringing only to disconnect? It's beyond me how they even got hold of our number. If this continues, we might as well consider changing it altogether. So honestly, what’s the point of them ringing us?

What a bloomin' nuisance! So many of them, um, err, really lack any clue. We just put the phone down and, thankfully, they stopped pursuing us right after it was revealed that the records for the previous tenant were well and truly out of date.
