I also received the exact same text message on my landline. I have no intention of giving them a call, considering I don’t owe them anything.

I just received a call urging me to get in touch with Emma at Mackenzie Hall. I haven’t a clue who these folks are, and to be honest, I have no intention of returning their call either.

We've just received a text from these folks too. It’s almost certainly some sort of marketing scam. I’d recommend that everyone steer clear and not engage with such nonsense. I certainly won’t be responding!

These chaps seem to be in the business of acquiring ancient debts- we’re talking ridiculously old here, well past the point where legal action can even be taken. Can you believe they proposed that a debt of £350 from over seven years ago could be settled at a mere two quid a week? Honestly, it’s enough to give debt collection agencies a terrible reputation!

Absolutely appalling service! So very ill-mannered, lacking in knowledge, and frankly, quite inept. I've yet to grasp what on earth these folks actually do, aside from trying - and failing miserably - to act smart. The manager ought to take a long, hard look at her team and consider clearing them all out. Honestly, she might as well retreat to some quiet spot and hide for a while.

We answered the phone, but we made it clear that we weren't going to share our name or any personal details. We told them they must have dialled the wrong number, as we don't owe anything to anyone. Nevertheless, they keep pestering us with calls, so now we've decided to just let the phone ring without responding. Let's hope BT will eventually classify this as a nuisance call.

I wouldn't bother answering if I were you; it's only a matter of time before they get themselves into a proper stew. This was their second go at it, and I've got them sussed now. It's quite amusing how some folks interpret this as an open invitation for them to call whenever they fancy. They really seem to be under the illusion that it’s all the same as always!

Received a text on our landline earlier today from MacKenzie Hall. Just to clarify, our landline has only been operational since the 1st of December, and I relocated to this address on the 4th. I'm currently declaring bankruptcy, while my partner is debt-free. Do not engage!

I’ve been informed that ‘McKenzie-Hall’ left a reference number on my voicemail, but they insist on having my address before they’ll entertain any questions regarding their call. Honestly, the rudeness displayed by these folks was quite astonishing, and given that it’s Valentine’s Day, it feels like yet another annoying sales tactic. What a time for such a marketing ploy to rear its ugly head!

Received a text message on my mum's phone urging her to call back at once. When she did, they insisted they had to speak with me. What a surprise to find out it was on my mum's line!

I received a matching call from Emma at Mckenzie Hall. It appears that the person who owned the number eight years back is still receiving mail sent to this address. Please disregard any calls connected to McKenzie Hall. They may impose an extortionate fee just to speak with them.

Received a voicemail on my home phone, which is unlisted, instructing me to urgently contact an 'Amy' using a reference number. After doing a bit of digging on this site, we decided against returning the call. Cheers to everyone for the helpful tips!

I received a call from these debt collectors, and they left a message urging me to get in contact with them regarding some matter of importance. The strange thing is, I've never heard of them before and certainly don't owe them any money. I tried reaching out to them, but they haven’t bothered to respond. Quite perplexing, really!

Received a call and they left a message stating they urgently needed to get in touch, mentioning a reference number. We're quite relieved to have stumbled upon this site. We had a feeling that someone we know might have put us down as a reference.

I recently received a call from Emma at McKenzie Hall. They left a rather ominous voicemail on our landline, complete with a reference number urging us to return their call. However, since I have no outstanding debts, I have no intention of getting in touch. Honestly, they seem quite dreadful!

Received a message urging me to contact Michelle at Mackenzie Hall right away. I’ve no clue who these individuals are, nor can I fathom how they obtained my number. I won't be making that call, simply because I’m unfamiliar with them.

"Kindly get in touch with Lexie over at Mackenzie Hall as soon as possible on 01563556701." We didn’t actually call but rather did a quick search and landed on this page instead! :D

I’ve stumbled upon a phone number linked to my parents’ house, a place we haven’t called home in over two decades. Does anyone have suggestions on what to do next?

Received a text that concluded with "Mary," but it was completely garbled, and the number they provided (01563 556507) is unfamiliar. They also included a reference number and urged me to call them straight away. However, I'm not inclined to do so, having done a bit of research and discovered that the number seems dodgy. If these folks are that keen to get in touch, why not pick up the phone and ring me directly? We have a phone line that can receive calls in my absence, and I genuinely have no idea what this is regarding. So, no chance of me calling them back!

I've found myself leaving multiple messages for someone who has never, to my knowledge, resided at our property. I've done a bit of digging, and it appears these individuals might be purchasing old debts from other creditors. Quite the curious situation, I must say!
