I just got a call from some guy with an Asian accent claiming to be from Amazon. He told me to switch on my laptop to stop hackers or something like that. He also said it was because of some illegal stuff and people making accounts with my name. The nonsense just went on and on.

I just had a call from an Asian guy, poor phone line, saying he was from Sky. He was going on about stopping hackers or something. The call dropped, and he tried to get me to visit some sketchy site like #teamviewerl###]. Definitely gonna report both numbers.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with Sky, saying there was some dodgy activity on my internet. Thing is, I don’t even have Sky for my phone or broadband. They asked for my details, but when I told them they’d already have all that info, they tried to change the subject and ended up just hanging up. Pretty fishy if you ask me.

Got three annoying calls in just 20 minutes earlier today. The first two times, as soon as my voicemail kicked in, they just dropped the call. The third time I wasn’t having it and ended it straight away. The number looked like it was from a UK area, but on my caller display it showed as international. Scotland’s definitely still in the UK, so this person’s clearly hiding who they really are. It was obviously some dodgy scammer. It’s not just pestering, it feels really shady and a bit worrying too.

I got called twice earlier today but didn’t pick up either time. They never bothered to leave a voicemail or anything.

I picked up to some noisy background, sounded like a call centre. The person asked how they could assist me, which was odd cos they were the ones who called our office in the first place. Then they just hung up straight away, didn't say a single word more. Proper waste of time!
