I received a call purporting to be from Home Energy Scotland. I decided to ring HES directly to verify, and they assured me it wasn’t them. Given that I’ve already been in contact with HES, it raised my suspicions. The caller was trying to peddle gas boilers, heat pumps, and hybrid heating systems, insisting that I could be eligible for a 75% grant from the Scottish Government. It all felt rather dodgy!
