I had a rather dubious encounter with someone claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse. Naturally, I reached out to the actual Carphone Warehouse to confirm whether it was indeed a scam. The so-called employee inquired about whether I was on Android or iPhone, to which I flatly responded that I recognised her for the scammer she was. I strongly encourage others to report this number as well. You can do so by messaging your network with the word ‘call’ sent to 7726. Fingers crossed we can get this number shut down across all networks!

They rang around 6pm and then stayed quiet. My caller ID said it was from a car phone. I've been getting these calls daily, sometimes multiple times a day, even though I've never bought a car phone before. Not sure how they got my number. For sure, it’s a scam. Don’t answer, just block the number. I reported it as spam and harassment because the caller said nothing once I picked up.
